Transnistria … Not many fans of the travel, decided to arrive here from the far abroad, can brag that they know much about this country. But, when they leave from here, they understand that the unforgettable impression has left each place which they have visited. So here is a small excursion from the south to the north of our small country.
The biggest and most southern area is Slobodzeja. Driving the country it is quite obvious that Transnistria is an agrarian area: the fields speak dearly about it. But, as well as any southern country, at our Slobodzei has "sea". Though it not the sea, and the big water basin in a small town Dnestrovsk. Coming here you forget about any other expensive resorts. So we go further …
And at once we get to our great capital – the city of Tiraspol. As well as every «heart of any country» Tiraspol is a political, industrial and cultural centre of Transnistria. In numerous green squares and shower parks your soul has simply a rest. But you must see the capital, because you can lern about it a lot.
At the right side of Transnistria located across Dniester, there is an ancient and glorious city of Bendery. This place will keep you for a long time on the small streets. The great fortress constructed several centuries ago by Turks is the main sight of a city. Besides, Bendery is called «a city of roses» because they grow almost on all beds and in all court yard. Plenty of fountains and monuments in the form of anchors will remind everyone that Bendery was also a seaport. Not each city can brag that such a great persons as Pushkin and Charles XII was here. But we continue the way …
Passing small areas Grigoriopol and Dubossary, we get to the most picturesque places of Transnistria – Rybnitsa and Kamenka. The most beautiful resort places in such villages as Rashkovo and Strointsy, will not leave indifferent any person indifferent!There are a lot of ancient legends about these places … the Well-known Tower of Winds in Strointsy, Rock top, a gentle wind, rising, below, somewhere away, the silver tape of Dniester bears the waters on the south. What can be better? So. We have arrived. Our travel comes to end, but nothing prevents to begin all from the very beginning! So forward! Transnistria waits!

the Kamenka region, also called "Pridnestrovie's Switzerland", is a therapeutic and recreational zone. The Dniester Sanatorium is a modern health resort: Comfortable, with light interiors, a fine dining room and a cinema hall for 550 places, pool, library, billiard.

It offers therapeutic and recreational services for the residents and visitors to Pridnestrovie. A unique method of medical treatment called ampelotherapy (treatment by grape juice and wine) is successfully practiced in the sanatorium.

The originality of the sanatorium in Kamenka is its situation on the bank of river Dniester.
Sanatorium “Dniester” is a big balneotherapeutic health resort. Sanatorium is specialized on treating digestive apparatus, blood-vascular organs, skin illness, nervous system, support-motor apparatus, gynaecological/female disorders.

Medicinal-diagnostic center has all the necessary methods of treating and diagnostic. You can to take there a carbonaceous, oxygen, pearl, spiruline and others treating bath.
It offers therapeutic treatment, most notably ampelotherapy which is described as treatment by grape juice and wine.

The Assumption of the Virgin Mary Church is situated in Caushani. It is the only one Church in Moldavia, having wall frescoes.

It goes partly in earth. According to the legend, Tatarian Khan the ruler of this territory in that time, allowed to build Orthodox Church only if it will be not higher than rider on a horse.

The precise date of the construction of this Church is unknown, but there are several options: in 1445, when Causheni was founded; in 1634-1653 during the reign of Vasile Lupu, Ruler of Moldova, or even later.

Its actual shape dates from the reconstruction between 1763-1767.

Wall frescoes are painted in the specific style of the Byzantine school.

Besides religious scenes, the portraits of the Church founders - Nicolae and Constantin Mavrocordat; spirit leaders of Moldova - Grigorie Alexandru Chica, Grigorie Callimachi, Bishop Proilavie Daniel are painted on wall frescoes.

We invite you to excursion to Sport Complex "SHERIFF", the most modern on South-West of Europe.

The construction of the "Sheriff" sport complex began at the western outskirts of Tiraspol on August 1, 2000.
The main football arena started functioning in July, 2002. The UEFA inspector Mr. Vertongen, who inspected the complex on the eve of a qualifying match of the Champions League, estimated the quality of the stadium as excellent.
The Main arena. This modern football stadium for 13.000 seats received spectators in July, 2002 for the first time. It was planned and built according to UEFA technical recommendations. The playing field the size of which is 105x68 is made of natural grass turf. The field is equipped with effective drainage system, automatic irrigating system anв underground heating system which gives a possibility during autumn-winter period to prepare the turf to the proper state for any match day.
The Small arena. The small sport arena started functioning in September, 2002. This stadium for 8000 seats with 6 running-tracks and a football field of the size 105x68 m.
Training fields. There are 5 training fields, including 3 with natural turf and automatic irrigating system and 2 with artificial "FieldTurf" grass.
The Football college. The "Sheriff" club pays a lot of attention to the development of football.
That is why the sport complex includes a football college for children from 9 to 16 years. The college being built for 160 students will have comfortable living rooms for 2-3 persons, class-rooms, conference-hall, medical department, rooms for coaches and tutors and rest-rooms for students.
A covered swimming pool is being built near the college with a stand for spectators and diving-tower as well as a sports hall. Apart from that, a rehabilitation center for football players and students is planned to be built.
The Hotel complex. A hotel being built for 250 places is designed to receive guests, tourists, and sportsmen coming to tournaments and training preparations. 5-star comfortable hotel will have 25-meter long covered swimming pool,
restaurants, a banquet room, a conference-hall, a night club, a casino, and tennis-courts.
